Fonsider was born from the experience of engineer Giampaolo Tizzoni.

In 2012, engineer Tizzoni patented a vibrodriven steel foundation solution for noise barriers, selling it to Autostrade per l'Italia and the Gavio Group.

​

 

From 2012 to 2017, Eng. Tizzoni perfected his knowledge in the field of foundations with vibrodriven plates, working in a company of the Gavio-Sias group for the application of the patent in the motorway network.  

​

 

In 2018, he patented a controlled vibrodriving steel foundation solution that allows its use for all types of steel structures, from which the company Fonsider was born, for the development and marketing of this technology.

​

 

In 2019, Fonsider carries out all the tests and trials with the University of Pisa and begins marketing the technology.

​

 

From 2021 Fonsider carries out a validation of the technology with real case scenarios in collaboration with the University of Pisa for the different applications:

foundations for telecommunications towers for the FIMO group

foundations for noise barriers for Tecne

foundations for lighting poles for GRM Enlights

From 2021 through 2022, Fonsider is partnering with Chicago USA's startup incubator mHUB to explore the U.S. market and introduce the technology to foreign countries as well
